Vodafone has prepared a new scheme of Rs 199 for its prepaid users. It offers unlimited all local and STD calls with 1 GB 4G / 3G data for 28 days. Note that Vodafone is not giving 1 GB of data per day, but it is valid for the validity period of 28 days.
Vodafone will charge 30 paise per minute for a period of seven days, which uses more than 1000 local or STD minutes in any period of seven consecutive days. Under this scheme, users will get a 30-minute charge on the fatigue of 250 paisa per minute in a day. Additionally, people who call more than 300 unique calls in one week will be charged 30 paise per minute for the remaining validity.
In comparison, there is a lot of data available for 28 days in Reliance Jio's 149 plan. In GO's 149 plan, there is a total of 2 GB data available, prepaid plans have validity of 28 days and comes with unlimited SMS (300 per day limit) with unlimited voice call (local and STD included). However, the amount of data at 4G speed will be only 2 GB, and the speed will decrease after fatigue of 64Kbps. Rival Aircel has a similar scheme of Rs 199, which gives unlimited calls and 1 GB data to prepaid users at 199 rupees for 28 days.
